1335 Days, Muhammad, the Six-Day War and the Times of the Gentiles Fulfilled

Temple Mount in Israel“‘And from the time that the regular sacrifice is abolished, and the abomination of desolation is set up, there will be 1,290 days. How blessed is he who keeps waiting and attains to the 1,335 days!'” (Daniel 12:11-12)

CHALLENGING MYSTERY

I want to share with you one of the most challenging mysteries of the Bible and an intriguing interpretation I heard regarding it.

It has to do with the above verse in Daniel, of which there is a similar (what I refer to as) “days” reference also in the New Testament book of Revelation…

“And I will grant authority to my two witnesses, and they will prophesy for twelve hundred and sixty (1,260) days, clothed in sackcloth.” (Revelation 11:3)

(For an easily understood and interesting mentioning of the 1260, 1290, 1335 days references and their relationship with the references to 3½ years and 42 months in the Bible, click here.)

INTERPRETATION OF THE 1,335 DAYS PROPHECY

And so here is the interpretation of the 1,335 days prophecy that I heard (and I paraphrase from my notes). Please keep in mind that it presumes a prophetic day equals a year…

Historic Methodist preacher Adam Clarke offers the following: Mohammad died June 8, 632. The demon that held him took a seat in the spiritual realm at Jerusalem – until 1967. The Six-Day War gave the city back into Jewish hands – exactly 1,335 years to the day (June 8, 1967). The times of the Gentiles are fulfilled(?!) (Luke 21:24; Romans 11:25) (Muslims took over the Temple Mount in 612 A.D.) (Jack Hayford in Unlocking Revelation, Cassette 5)
