The False God of Climate Change

Climate Change Polar Bear“The fourth angel poured out his bowl upon the sun, and it was given to it to scorch men with fire. Men were scorched with fierce heat; and they blasphemed the name of God who has the power over these plagues, and they did not repent so as to give Him glory.” (Revelation 16:8-9)

PLANET AT RISK

It was global cooling in the 1970s.

It was global warming in the 2000s.

It is now climate change in the 2010s.

And it’s a problem.

The earth is warming and the planet is at risk so we’re being told.

We’re also being told that mankind is at fault especially the part of mankind that lives in the United States of America.

Huh?

(There seems to be no climate change issue in China or India or Russia? – or at least these countries are not being “required” to comply.)

HOW DO WE COOL OFF?

And so what if climate change really is the problem?

How can we possibly cool the planet?

Is it to be dealt with by changing light bulbs and driving electric cars and generating windmill power and closing down the coal industry?

(Try to fly a Boeing 767 on the windmill part.)

And then how (and when) do we determine that we’ve gotten to the optimum temperature (for all areas)?

FALSE GOD OF CLIMATE CHANGE

And really the false god of climate change, I submit to you, isn’t climate change at all.

And neither is it that the climate isn’t changing.

The climate IS changing.

(Do you remember learning about the ice ages in school?)

Instead, the false god of climate change is this.

It’s people.

It’s people who have the audacity to propose that we could possibly ever combat climate change by anything other than falling on our faces before God and repenting of our sins.
