10 Mistakes People Make with Truth (plus 1 bonus)

10 Mistakes People Make with Truth (plus 1 bonus):

1. Are afraid to speak it (due to political correctness, their fear of being ostracized by the church?). (John 9:18-23)
2. Refuse to believe the truth. (John 1:14; 8:45-46; 14:6; 18:37)
3. Think it is “spinnable” (truth is what men decide it is at the time). (John 18:38)
4. Don’t want to hear the truth (“Don’t confuse me with the facts”). (Acts 7:57)
5. Have lived a lie their entire lives (won’t face the truth of who they’ve become). (Romans 3:23; John 8:24)
6. Think there can be more than one “truth” (2 + 2 will never equal 5).
7. Hate those who live by the truth / the Holy Bible. (Mark 13:13)
8. Overlook that God alone is the only One to be believed. (Numbers 23:19)
9. Forget that the truth only sets a person free who is a disciple of Jesus Christ, first. (John 8:31-32)
10. Suppress the truth by living in sin. (Romans 1:18; 1 John 1:8, 2:4)

BONUS Overlook that if they don’t become lovers of truth (to love the truth is the same as living your life according to it), they will be unable to keep themselves from following Antichrist (the world system) and be destroyed in the end. (2 Thessalonians 2:10; Matthew 7:26)
