On Iran, Israel, the Bomb and God Himself

Moses and the Red SeaMy son asked me a question recently, “Does Iran have a bomb that can destroy an entire country?” I said in a tweet I would share my answer to him in a future blog post. This is that post.

Here was my answer…

“There isn’t a bomb that can destroy an entire country, Michael. And whether or not Iran has a bomb, some think they are trying to make one to threaten their neighbors and Israel. The Bible does say there will be an attack on Israel in the last days. (Ezekiel 38:14-23) But just like God rescued His people from Pharoah ~ do you remember that? ~ how they crossed the Red Sea? (Exodus 14:1-31) ~ He will do the same thing in our day. When all the nations surround Israel to attack, God Himself will personally (literally and physically) step in and destroy all His enemies. (Zechariah 14:3-4) So we can be at peace, Michael.”

He walked away assured.

You can, too.

“‘In the world you have tribulation, but take courage; I have overcome the world.'” (John 16:33)

  1. I guess it depends on how big the country is. We have some pretty big bombs, but probably not from Iran’s perspective.

Good point to your son though. God is going to protect Israel in the end.
